Mackmyra Skordetid

The Mackmyra Skördetid is the autumn 2017 limited releases Seasons Edition from the Swedish Mackmyra distillery. Matured in first fill Masti Costasera Amarone, first fill ex Bourbon and first fill Oloroso sherry casks together with first fill PX sherry casks and  small 30 liter Mackmyra Reserve casks. Bottled in 2017 at 46,1% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour.

Nose: complex and spicy with lots of fruit, grapes, raisins, vanilla and spicy oak aromas

Palate: creamy and rich with again lots of fruit, dried berries, pears and raisins, a hint of ginger, vanilla and anise

Finish: long and spicy sweet with dried fruit and oak
