High Coast Timmer – Peat Smoke (48%)

The High Coast Timmer – Peat Smoke is a Swedish single malt from the High Coast distillery (formerly known as Box). The Timmer, which is Swedish for wood, is a peated single malt bottled in the High Coast Origin’s series. It’s made from 100% peated and matured in first fill bourbon barrels for about 6 years. It was bottled in 2019 at the age of +/- 6 years at 48% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour.

Nose: heavily peated with some vanilla

Palate: beach and bonfire smoke with sweet vanilla influences

Finish: yellow citrus and a smoldering bonfire
