High Coast Hav – Oak Spice (48%)

The High Coast Hav – Oak Spice is a Swedish single malt from the High Coast distillery (formerly known as Box). The Hav, which is Swedish for sea, is a lightly peated single malt bottled in the High Coast Origin’s series. It’s made from 20% peated malt and 80% unpeated malt both matured in Hungarin and Swedish oak. The Hav was bottled in 2019 at the age of +/- 5 years at 48% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour.

Nose: red fruit, cloves and nutmeg followed by some light peat smoke

Palate: very well balanced with fruity, spicy and peat aromass

Finish: oak, spices and vanilla pods
