Kavalan Solist Sherry Cask (57,8%)

The Kavalan Solist Sherry Cask has matured in Spanish Oloroso sherry casks and is a true sherry bomb. A Taiwanese single cask single malt with no age statement bottled at natural cask strength of 57,8% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour. This release was distilled on the 21st of June 2012 and matured in cask S120621027A which was bottled on the 2nd of October 2018. This is a limited single cask release of 526 bottles.

Nose: complex with a variety of aromas dried fruit, some nuttiness and hints of marzipan and vanilla

Palate: rich and oily with notes of dried fruit, sherry, almonds, walnuts and vanilla

Finish: long and gentle with hints of coffee and vanilla
