Kavalan Ex-Sherry Oak

The KKavalan Ex-Sherry Oak is a Taiwanese singel malt made from several Oloroso sherry casks all 6 to 7 years old. A real sherry bomb that tastes like an 18 or 20 years old whisky. It was bottled at 46% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour.

Nose: rich layers of dried fruit (apricots and dates), roasted nuts and sweet spices with notes of marzipan, vanilla and chocolate

Palate: choky and sweet with returning aromas from the nose and slightly floral with notes of honeysuckle and linden

Finish: long and well-balanced
