Kavalan ex-Bourbon Oak

The Kavalan ex-Bourbon Oak is the first regular bourbon release from this Taiwanese distillery. A delicate whisky that is about 6 to 7 years old but tastes like it is much more mature. Bottled at 46%, non chill filtered and with no added colour.

Nose: sweet and delicate, fruity hints of banana, oranges, pineapple, some vanilla and coconut

Palate: a little spicy with fruity notes of pears and plums, some cinnamon and vanilla

Finish: a good length with again fruit like oranges and plums, some white chocolate and a touch of oak
