Kavalan Single Malt

Kavalan single malt is the first release from the Taiwanese Kavalan distillery. A malt that was introduced in 2008 and a fruity and floral whisky. It's a vatting of several malts matured in e.g. ex-bourbon, ex-sherry and ex-wine casks.

Nose: elegant and floral with hints of orchids, honey, tropical fruit, coconuts and a hint of chocolate

Palate: a hint of sweet mango juice and a spicy complexity with notes of pear, vanilla, honey and coconuts

Finish: warm, medium long and a bit oily with a citrus finish
