The Xtra Old Particular Glenrothes 21 years old 1996 is a Speyside single malt from the Glenrothes distillery bottled in the Xtra Old Particular series by the independent bottler Douglas Laing. This Glenrothes was distilled in September 1996 and matured in refill bourbon hogshead DL12377. It was bottled in March 2018 at natural cask strength of 55,5% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour. This is a limited single cask release of 257 bottles.

Nose: a typical Speysider with aromas of barley, cashew nuts, spices and honey

Palate: warm spices with oak and fruit pastilles

Finish: warm mocha with honey and nuts
