The Xtra Old Particular Glen Spey 21 years old 1997 is a Speyside single malt from the Glen Spey distillery bottled in the Xtra Old Particular series by the independent bottler Douglas Laing. This Glen Spey was distilled in January 1997 and matured in refill hogshead DL12952. It was bottled in November 2018 at natural cask strength of 51,5% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour. This is a limited single cask release of 356 bottles.

Nose: sweet and lively with coconut covered in chocolate, juicy barley and soft spices

Palate: layers of vanilla with creamy toffee and warm sponge cake

Finish: soft oak aromas with marshmallows and caramelized sugar
