Glenglassaugh Peated Virgin Oak Finish

The Glenglassaugh Peated Virgin Oak Finish was released end of 2017 as part of the Wood Finishes series of Glenglassaugh. This Speyside single malt matured in a peated bourbon barrel and was finished in a virgin oak cask before being bottled at 46% ABV.

Nose: toasted oak with crushed black pepper, peanuts and honeycomb

Palate: new leather, caramelized apricots and sweet smoked cheese notes

Finish: fruit on the bbq with earthy vanilla aromas
