Glenglassaugh Evolution (50,2%)

The Evolution is a limited edition Speyside single malt from the Glenglassaugh distillery. A release from 2013 and the success from the 2012 release with 57,2%. This 2013 edition has matured in ex-Tennessee bourbon casks and is bottled at natural cask strength of 50%, non chill filtered and with no added colour.

Nose: gooseberries and lemon with a touch of fresh-cut grass, like a young whisky

Palate: full-bodied with notes of vanilla, greengages and gentle wood spices with rich sweet bourbon notes

Finish: long and sweet with vanilla and citrus
