GlenAllachie Virgin Oak Series 12yo Spanish Oak Finish

The GlenAllachie Virgin Oak Series 12 years old Spanish Oak Finish is a Speyside single malt from the GlenAllachie distillery and one of the three releases in the Virgin Oak Series. This GlenAllachie first matured in American oak (Quercus Alba) ex bourbon barrels followed by a finish in selected Spanish oak virgin oak casks. Casks form Galicia and Asturia that have been air dried for 18 months and add some spices.

Nose: honey, coconut, treacle, orange zest and cinnamon

Palate: heathery honey, treacle, coconut, orange zest, mocha, nutmeg and cinnamon

Finish: medium long and spicy
