Craigellachie 17yo

The Craigellachie years old is the second release in the Craigellachie core range and was first introduced in the autumn of 2014. A rare malt since the Craigellachie distillery does not often release them. This Speyside whisky has matured in American oak casks and is a modern Craigellachie release.

Nose: fruity with lots of pear, some grapefruit aromas, lots of vanilla and some oak, later also floral notes and even some cinnamon

Palate: refreshing with aromas of citrus, honey, vanilla cream, pineapple chunks and some spices like pepper, ginger and cinnamon

Finish: medium long and spicy with a hint of almonds and lemon
