Benriach 22yo Dunder

The Benriach 22 years old Dunhder is a peated Speyside single malt finished in Jamaican dark rum barrels after an initial maturation in bourbon barrels. This is the second Albariza release following the 18 years old from 2015. This release was bottled at 46% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour.

Nose: sweet barley and earthy peat with banoffee pie, sweet cereals and some ginger

Palate: grilled pineapple with dried apricots, caramel shortbreads, vanilla marzipan and rum spices with a hint of smoke

Finish: crystalized brown sugar with light coconut aromas
