BenRiach 12yo Sherry Wood

The BenRiach 12 years old Sherry Wood is a Speyside single malt from the BenRiach distillery. It’s made from three facets of sherry maturation; full sherry cask maturation, combined with Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso sherry cask finishing.

Nose: baked fruit salad with figs, apricots, cherries, tinned mandarins and crepes with honey, vanilla and caramel cream

Palate: fruit with honeyed figs, baked pineapple and sultanas with chocolate, Muscovado sugar and ground nutmeg and vanilla

Finish: savory nectarines with candied grapes, star anise and sherry
