This 10 years old Auchroisk, formerly known as The Singleton of Auchroisk, is the only official release of this distillery in the Flora & Fauna series of United Distillers and later Diageo. A series that was discontinued in 2010. This Speyside single malt was released in 2001 and bottled at 43% ABV. The label of this Auchroisk shows a swallos, just like that of Glen Elgin. The difference is that this one comes from the left.
Nose: light with notes of fruit zest, Anglaise cream and some nutiness with a hint of salt
Palate: pretty sweet and soft with notes of mandarin, honey and nuts
Finish: soft, long and smoky with dry notes of cereals
