The Exceptional Grain Third Edition

The Exceptional Grain Third Edition is a blended grain bottled by Sutcliffe & Son. This blended grain consists of grains from North British, Loch Lomond, Strathclyde, Cameronbridge and Carsebridge. They’ve been blended and finished in first fill Oloroso sherry casks before being bottled in 2016 at 43% ABV.

Nose: toffee popcorn, coffee cake, milk chocolate, fruit jacks, Oloroso sherry, tobacco and spices

Palate: pecan nuts and vanilla with creamy milk chocolate, oak and pralines

Finish: cocoa, custard and caramelized pears
