Old Perth 46yo 1971 (50,4%)

The Old Perth 46 years old 1971 is an old blended grain bottled by the independent bottler Morrison & MacKay. This whisky’s for this 46 year old release were distilled in 1971 and got blended in a bourbon barrel. This barrel matured for 46 years until it was bottled in 2018 at natural cask strength of 50,4% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour. This is a limited single cask release of 270 bottles.

Nose: red fruit, warm apple pie, mellow cognac with toffee and light chocolate aromas

Palate: warm jelly with dark caramel, oak, cognac influences, hot chocolate and a whiff of cinnamon

Finish: soft and lightly sweetened
