The North British 58 years old 1960 The Incorporation Edition is a very old Lowlands single grain from the North British distillery and the very first commercial release they’ve released. Distilled in July 1960 and matured for 58 long years in a bourbon hogshead. This North British was bottled in 2018 at natural cask strength of 51,6% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour, as a limited single cask release of 222 bottles.
Nose: butterscotch, caramelized pineapple and coconut
Palate: toasted oak with cinnamon, cloves and toffee
Finish: spicy toffee aromas with molasses
