Cooper’s Choice Secret Orkney 10yo 2010 Jamaican Rum Finish (56%)

The Cooper’s Choice Secret Orkney 10 years old 2010 Jamaican Rum Finish is an undisclosed Orkney single malt bottled by the independent bottler Cooper’s Choice (Vintage Malt Whisky Company. This release was distilled in February 2010 and matured in a bourbon barrel followed by a finish in Jamaican rum cask 9053. This cask was bottled in 2020 at natural cask strength of 56% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour, as a limited single cask release of 360 bottles.

Nose: heather honeyed light smoke with vanilla and fruit

Palate: gingery heather and caramelized banana amidst a background of light smoky spice

Finish: long lasting with tingling spices
