Bladnoch Samsara

The Bladnoch Samsara is a Lowlands single malt from the re-opened Bladnoch distillery. Together with the 15yo Adela and 25yo Talia it marks the new start of the distillery. The Samsara, which means ‘rebirth’ and symbolizes the reawakening of Bladnoch distillery, is at least 8 years old and wasmatured in Californian red wine casks as well as bourbon casks and was bottled at 46,7% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour.

Nose: fruit compote with prunes, vanilla and orange blossom

Palate: sweet and winey with drying aromas of prunes and vanilla, some citrus and a hint of malt

Finish: soft and lingering with wine aromas and spices
