Bladnoch 17yo Limited Release (46,7%)

The Bladnoch 17 years old Limited Release is a Lowlands single malt from the Bladnoch distillery bottled especially for 200 years of Bladnoch under the ‘Celebrating 200 Years’ label. This Bladnoch was distilled in 2001 and matured in bourbon barrels followed by a finish in Californian red wine casks. A first batch was transferred in such casks in March 2016 and a second batch followed in January 2017. This Bladnoch was bottled end of 2018 at 46,7% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour. This is a limited release of 6.000 bottles.

Nose: dried fruit with a hint of coffee, sweet oaky aromas and vanilla

Palate: spicy oak with prunes, canned cherries, orange zest and spices

Finish: slightly peppery with dried fruit aromas
