Bladnoch 15yo Adela

The Bladnoch 15 years old Adela is a Lowlands single malt from the re-opened Bladnoch distillery. Together with the Samsara and 25yo Talia it marks the new start of the distillery. The Adela matured in Spanish and American Oloroso sherry butts (including a bunch of first fill butts) and was bottled at 46,7% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour. The name Adela means ‘noble’ which signifies the richness and depth of flavour for our 15 year old malt matured in oloroso casks.

Nose: walnuts and coffee cake, juicy cherries and a hint of lemon grass

Palate: chocolate with strawberry aromas, liquorice and cloves

Finish: long and rich with Oloroso sweetness
