1770 Glasgow Single Malt Scotch Whisky Peated Release No. 1 (50cl)

The 1770 Glasgow Single Malt Scotch Whisky Peated Release No. 1 is the first peated single malt release from the Glasgow Distillery. A Lowlands single malt made with peated barley from the Highlands. This first releases matured in ex sherry casks followed by a finish in virgin oak casks. It was bottled in 2019 at 46% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour.

Nose: Sweet smoke and dried fruits with aromatic notes, flamed orange zest and rich caramel toffee.

Palate: Spicy orange and sweet smoke with rich velvety toffee leading to earthiness and dark fruit.

Finish: Long and smooth and with lingering notes of macadamia and spice.
