Xtra Old Particular Bunnahabhain 30yo 1989 (42,8%)

The Xtra Old Particular Bunnhabhain 30 years old 1989 is an older Islay single malt from the Bunnahabhain distillery bottled in the Xtra Old Particular series by the independent bottler Douglas Laing. This Bunnahabhain was distilled in November 1989 and matured in refill hogshead DL13720. It was bottled in November 2019 at natural cask strength of 42,8% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour, as a limited single cask release of 218 bottles.

Nose: mellow and mellifluous with muscovado sugar, ginger and other spices

Palate: smooth and silky with milk chocolate (salted?) and mint

Finish: subtle, a little dry and with warming spices
