Smoky Scot Islay Single Malt

Smoky Scot Islay Single Malt is a release from an undisclosed Islay distillery bottled by Aceo Limited. A 5 year old small batch release matured in bourbon casks and bottled at 46% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour.

Nose: classic Islay peat smoke with medicinal influences, some sweet and elegant aromas and saltiness

Palate: tar, old wood, brine and smoke followed by more subtle, floral and malt aromas

Finish: sweet peat, toasted sunflower seeds, subtle malt and a hint of menthol
