Smokehead

Smokehad Single Islay Malt whisky is bottled by Ian Macleod Distillers Ltd. Actually Smokehead is an Ardbeg and not a subtle whisky. It is characterized by smoke, spices, peat and some delicate sweetness.

Colour: light golden

Nose: firmly smoky and peaty, very rich, lemon, fresh ginger, plum jam, salty and spicy

Palate: powerful, peat, cocoa, a hint of honey followed by explosive spices, pepper, peat and a light sweetness

Finish: heavy peat, drying, spicy, notes of mandarins and a malty aftertaste
