Port Charlotte 10yo Heavily Peated (50%)

The Port Charlotte 10 years old Heavily Peated is a heavily peated Islay single malt from Bruichladdich. This Port Charlotte is made 100% from Scottish barley and matured for 65% in first fill American oak, 25% in second fill American oak and 10% in second fill wine casks. It was bottled at 50% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour.

Nose: maritime influences with wood, smoke, ash and ginger

Palate: delicate and balanced with smoke, sweet wood influences, coconut, vanilla cream, citrus, honey and mussels

Finish: subtle with a smoky edge and aromas like fudge, malted barley, oranges, mango and banana bread
