The Old Particular The Spiritualist Series 14 years old ‘Balance Edition’ is the first release in a new Old Particular series by Douglas Laing called ‘The Spiritualist Series. Inspired by the global trend of mindfulness and taking time for yourself  this is a series of 3 releases who are launched in 2020. The first one, the Balance Edition, is a 14 year old Islay single malt from an undisclosed distillery. Distilled in November 2005 and matured in a refill hogshead. Bottled in April 2020 at natural cask strength of  53,2% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour, as a limited single cask release of 325 bottles. The first tasting notes are: earthy peat with sweet smoke and honeyed barley.
