Laphroaig Lore

The Laphroaig Lore is, according to Laphroaig, the richest release they’ve ever bottled. Unofficially it is also said to be the successor of the 18 years old. It matured in a combination of ex-Laphroaig barrels, sherry and quarter casks and was bottled at 48% ABV.

Nose: rich and smoky with minerals, ash, dark chocolate, clotted cream, fudge and fruit

Palate: short and dry with a spicy chili bite

Finish: short and dry with a long and sweet aftertaste
