Lagavulin Distillers Edition 2005 - 2020

The Lagavulin Distillers Edition 2005 - 2020 is a 16 year old Islay single malt from the Lagavulin distillery bottled in the 2018 Diageo Distillers Editions series. This Lagavulin was distilled in 2005 and initially matured in American oak casks followed by a finish Pedro Ximenez sherry casks. It was bottled in 2020 at 43% ABV.

Nose: intense peat and vanilla aromas with raisins, smoke, iodine and malted barley

Palate: malt, peat smoke, saltiness, coffee, vanilla and fruit

Finish: long with fruit, peat and oak
