Lagavulin 8yo

The Lagavulin 8 years old is a younger Islay single malt from the Lagavulin distillery. It was specially released to celebrate the 200^th Anniversary of the distillery in 2016 and thereafter continued to be a part of the core range. This Lagavulin matured in refill bourbon casks and was bottled at 48% ABV.

Nose: soft with clean and fresh notes, subtle milk chocolate aromas and lemon followed by tea smoke and dry maritime aromas

Palate: a typical and rich Lagavulin with notes of roasted oak, dark chocolate and a hint of mint

Finish: clean, long and smoky with a minty smoke, chocolate and tannins
