The Kilchoman Loch Gorm Release 2016 is the fourth release in this sherried Kilchoman series. It is the first Kilchoman release of 2016 and with 6 years it is the oldest Loch Gorm ever bottled. It was distilled in 2010 and matured, just like the previous edition, in a combination of both Oloroso sherry butts and hogshead. It was bottled in 2016 at 46% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour. A limited release of 14000 bottles.
Nose: soft, lightly spices and with delicate smoke, citrus, some chocolate, sherry and a hint of peat
Palate: sherry with peatsmoke, soft fruit and citrus
Finish: lingering with smoke and light sweet sherry notes
