Kilchoman Loch Gorm Release 2015 (46%)

The Kilchoman Loch Gorm 2015 is the 3^rd Loch Gorm release by Kilchoman. Their first release of 2015 and distilled in both 2009 and 2010. Matured not only in Oloroso sherry butts but for the first time also in hogsheads. These casks give a new dimension to the Loch Gorm series adding morch depth and intensity due to the increased contact between the whisky and the wood. This Loch Gorm is about 5,5 years old and a limited Islay single malt of 10000 bottles.

Nose: soft, spicy and rich with light smoke, dark chocolate and citrus

Palate: soft fruit and peat smoke

Finish: rich and sweet with lingering smoke notes
