Kilchoman 2009 Vintage 6cl sample

The Kilchoman 2009 Vintage is the fourth vintage release from Kilchoman succeeding the 2006, 2007 and 2008. Officially it is not a 100% 2009 vintage since also 3 Oloroso sherry butts from 2008 have been used together with new and refill barrels from 2008. This 8 years old and limited Kilchoman release was bottled in 2017 at 46% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour. This is a 6cl sample.

Nose: lemon, citrus and butterscotch with peat smoke and ripe fruit

Palate: soft sweet aromas followed by peat smoke and ripe fruit

Finish: long, clean and with sweet peat and soft fruit
