Kilchoman 2008 Vintage 6cl sample

The Kilchoman 2008 Vintage is a 7 years old Islay single malt and the oldest Kilchoman release ever since filling the first casks in 2005. The 2008 Vintage is a combination of American bourbon casks filled in June 2008. They were bottled in August 2015 at 46% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour. This is a 6cl sample.

Colour: honey gold

Nose: lemon, citrus and butterscotch notes are prominent with soft peaty aromas in the background

Palate: soft sweetness first with peat smoke and ripe fruit notes following

Finish: long, clean and sweet with peat smoke and soft fruits at the end
