Kilchoman 100% Islay 9th Edition (50%)

The Kilchoman 100% Islay 9th Edition is the ninth release in this series of lightly peated (20 PPM) Kilchomans botteld at 50% ABV. It is 100% Islay made which explains the name. This 9th release is a vatting barley from 2007 and 2009 matured in 43 bourbon barrels and bottled in 2019 at 50% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour, as a limited release of 12.000 bottles.

Nose: lemon sweetness with apricots, juniper and wild spices

Palate: lemon pie with vanilla, salty peat, smoke and dark maple syrup

Finish: long intense and oily
