Bowmore No. 1

The Bowmore No. 1 is the successor of the Bowmore Small Batch (which used to be the ‘Legend’) and was fully matured in first fill bourbon casks. This Islay single malt was named after the legendary No. 1 Vaults, the warehouse that contains the oldest and most exclusive Bowmore whisky. It was bottled at 40% ABV.

Nose: sweet vanilla with spicy cinnamon and smoky oak aromas

Palate: juicy citrus, honeycomb, grated coconut, smoke and maritime influences

Finish: peat smoke, bourbon vanilla and lemon
