Bowmore 18yo

The Bowmore 18 years old is one of the oldest core range releases of the Bowmore distillery. This Islay single malt has matured in ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks resulting in a rich whisky with peat and smoke combined with delicate notes of e.g. heather, autumn leaves and citrus. First released in January 2007 to replace the discontinued 17yo.

Nose: creamy with notes of autumn leaves, heather, campfire, caramel, toffee, soft fruit and smoke

Palate: subtle and delicate with aromas of chocolate, salty notes, soft citrus and smoke

Finish: long and complex with smoke, floral notes, toffee, soft fruit and chocolate
