Bowmore 15yo

This 15 years old Bowmore is a more delicate and elegant version of the former Darkest. This Islay single malt has nice peat aromas and had a finish in Oloroso sherry casks giving it more depth with notes of ripe fruit and dark chocolate.

Colour: amber

Nose: first aromas of candied oranges and caramel, toffee, dark chocolate, raisins, roasted nuts and then classical smoky Bowmore notes

Palate: well balanced with smoky notes of wine followed by caramel and cedar

Finish: long, robust and warming with smoky aromas of peat and some pepper with nice tannins and a beautiful Pedro Ximenez flavour
