Bowmore Small Batch

The Bowmore Small Batch is the newest addition to the core range of this Islay distiller and the successor of the discontinued Legend. This single malt has matured in first and second fill bourbon casks which are then married. The first fill casks give the whisky a subtle vanilla and spices aroma as well as some bourbon smoke whereas the the second fill casks bring fresh fruit, honey and more complexity.

Colour: warm golden yellow

Nose: vanilla, toffee, saltiness and peat smoke balanced with honey and cinnamon

Palate: fresh citrus with a gentle saltiness, vanilla and a hint of coconut

Finish: a little smoky with vanilla and lemon
