Berry’s Bunnahabhain 26yo 1990 (47,8%)

The Berry’s Bunnahabhain 26 years old 1990 is an older Islay single malt bottled by the independent bottler Berry Bros & Rudd. This Bunnahabhain was distilled in 1990 and matured in bourbon cask 1536. It was bottled in 2017 at natural cask strength of 47,8% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour. This is a limited single cask release.

Nose: beautifully perfumed with apples, leather, grapes stalks, orange citrus and wood spice

Palate: rich and quite sinewy with more lively fruit notes and a faint drift of smokiness in the background

Finish: wood spices with lingering smoke at the background
