Berry’s Bunnahabhain Margadale 11yo 2005

The Berry’s Bunnahabhain Margadale 11 years old 2005 is an 11 years old Islay single malt bottled by the independent bottler Berry Brothers & Rudd. It was distilled in 2005 and matured in cask 9000057. It was bottled in 2016 at 46% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour. A limited single cask release named after the Margadale river where the name Bunnahabhain which means ‘mouth of the river’ in Gaelic, comes from.

Nose: peat smoke with earthy and spicy notes combined with tobacco

Palate: ripe and full bodied with smoke, peppery notes and later also fruit

Finish: dry and lingering with a smoky end
