Xtra Old Particular Jura 21yo 1998 (52,6%)

The Xtra Old Particular Jura 21 years old 1998 is an Islands single malt from the Isle of Jura distillery bottled in the Xtra Old Particular series by the independent bottler Douglas Laing. This Jura was distilled in April 1998 and matured in refill barrel DL13518. It was bottled in August 2019 at natural cask strength of 52,6%, non chill filtered and with no added colour, as a limited single cask release of 251 bottles.

Nose: a touch of sea salt mingles with brown sugar, honeyed barley and fresh vanilla

Palate: mouth coating with creamy custard, dark toffee, spiced oak and tropical fruits

Finish: deliciously long with sweet malt, orchard fruits and soft spices
