The Arran The Bothy Quarter Cask Batch 4 (53,8%)

The Arran The Bothy Quarter Cask Batch 4 is the fourth release in the Bothy series. This release was bottled in 2018 at natural cask strength of 53,8% after having matured in first fill American oak barrels followed by a finish of 18 months in quarter casks. It was bottled in April 2018, non chill filtered and with no added colour as a limited release of 13.800 bottles.

Nose: warm with sandalwood spices, sweet malted barley and oak, waxy lemon notes with cane sugar and some cocoa

Palate: rich and sweet with some red chili, typical Arran notes, fresh pineapple, green apples, roasted brioche and vanilla ice

Finish: floral with some citrus
