The Arran Machrie Moor Cask Strength 5th Edition (56,2%)

The Arran Machrie Moor Cask Strength 5th Edition is the fifth cask strength release of the peated Machrie Moor series by the Arran distillery. This Isle of Arran single malt was bottled in 2018 with 20 PPM at natural cask strength of 56,2% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour. A limited release of 9000 bottles.

Nose: strong with woodsmoke, peat and fresh pineapple followed by delicate pear and lime notes

Palate: fruit, with a drop of water some raspberry jam, on freshly baked bread combined with peat smoke

Finish: lingering with toatsted bourbon casks/vanilla and a hint of the sea
