The Arran The Bothy Quarter Cask Batch 2 (55,2%)

The Arran The Bothy Quarter Cask Batch 2 is the second release in the Bothy series. This release was bottled in 2016 at natural cask strength of 55,2% after having matured in first fill American oak barrels followed by a finish of 18 months in quarter casks. It was bottled non chill filtered and with no added colour as a limited release of 12000 bottles.

Nose: warm with sandalwood spices, sweet malted barley and oak, waxy lemon notes with cane sugar and some cocoa

Palate: rich and sweet with some red chili, typical Arran notes, fresh pineapple, green apples, roasted brioche and vanilla ice

Finish: floral with some citrus
