The Scapa Glansa is the first ever peated Scapa. This Islands (Isle of Skye) single malt was finished in casks that previously contained peated malt. This release is a lightly peated malt matured in American oak casks and bottled at 40% ABV.
Nose: fruit like soft peach and pineapple with vanilla and soft smoke aromas
Palate: peach, ripe fruit, creamy caramel, vanilla and smoke
Finish: very long and markedly smoked
