Ledaig 19yo Oloroso Sherry Finish (46,3%)

The Ledaig 19 years old Oloroso Sherry Finish is an older peated Isle of Mull single malt from the Tobermory distillery. This Ledaig was distilled in 1998 and matured for a small 6 years in bourbon casks followed by a 14 year long finish in Oloroso sherry casks . It was bottled in 2018 at 46,3% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour, as a limited release of 2400 bottles.

Nose: dried fruit with spices, a hint of citrus, creamy toffee and peppery smokiness

Palate: again a lot of dried fruit aromas with oak, sweet fruit influences, subtle spices, black pepper and peat

Finish: sweet smoke and fruit
