Isle of Jura Two-One-Two (47,5%)

The Isle of Jura Two-One-Two is the first limited edition following the introduction of the new packaging and core range in 2018. The Two-One-Two is an ode to the actual inhabitants of the island, 212 to be prices. It’s a 13 year old Islands single malt matured in ex bourbon barrels followed by a finish in Chinkapin oak casks. Chinkapin is also known as ‘yellow oak’ and comes from North-America. This Jura release was bottled in 2019 at 47,% ABV as a limited edition of 6000 bottles.

Nose: sweet pastries with lemon pie, butterscotch, cinnamon and light fruity aromas

Palate: mild an sweet with fruity influences like apple, green pears, apricots and peaches with a hint of nuts

Finish: long with fruity and nutty aromas
